I’m frequently asked questions pertaining to the training and taming of Dexter’s. There’s no right or wrong way. There’s the long road which simply involves establishing trust with the cow(s) through frequent visits and offered treats. This video is not that. In this video, I’m working with a young cow who just had her first calf. The cow has a naturally mild temperament, but she’s always been a bit stand off-ish and wary of my presence. At the end of 4 days, I’m able to get her behind a milk gate with minimal effort and milk her out with ease. Love my Dexters!
